Told my buddy Eric at Apothecare in Ann Arbor I would draw some of Sister Ganja some time today, so long after midnight tonight I got at it with pencil and card stock. Not too bad for a pleasant hour’s work.

Serpentaria Datura
Colored pencil and pen on drawing paper. A weird hybrid plant from my imagination with spatulate leaves and the five-fold symmetry of the trumpetlike blossoms of Datura stramonium.
Darkstar Ensign Morning Glory
Pencil drawing from a photo of one of my crop of morning glories from 2022. They are small, deep purple blossoms with a stelleration so dark it shows black in the full sun. These bred up from a few packets of Heavenly Blues and a Celestial Mix of Ensigns and other miniature morning glories. They reproduce fairly true from seeds and are open pollenated and even thrive in a windowbox. One of my dear allies.
Fleurs du Nuit
Fleurs du Nuit is an acrylic on canvas board painting done on black background of various irises, hyacinths, and violets. I painted this some time around 2002.
Winter Maple
Winter Maple is simple India ink brushed onto copy paper, drawn from life as I looked out my back window on a bleak November afternoon back on 11/16/2002.
Papaver Somniferum
The Opium Poppy, colored pencil with India ink background. Comfort and torment both lie within its milky veins.
Flowery Path
Flowery Path is a colored pencil on drawing paper image I made probably back around 2002. Flowers are magic to me, and I wanted to draw some from imagination and lay them out along a garden path.
